Part of fells-code/seamless-auth-api#385 (Phase 4: clean machine runs on macOS and Linux, timed).

scripts/quickstart-clean-run.sh follows the Self-Hosted Quickstart with the CLI as published on npm (QUICKSTART_CLI, default seamless-cli@latest), and times each phase:

  1. fetch the CLI with npx
  2. init my-app --local --yes --email=...
  3. docker compose up -d --build
  4. wait for auth, the API, the web app and /console to answer
  5. sign in as the owner through the app's /auth routes, as the browser does, with the code from seamless owner-code, and check the session has admin:write

It uses a throwaway npm cache, and records which Docker images were already cached, since that part of a developer machine cannot be made clean. Teardown removes the volumes and the locally built images.

quickstart-clean-run.yml runs it on ubuntu-latest (x64) and ubuntu-24.04-arm, on demand and on PRs that touch it. The timings go to the job summary. GitHub's macOS runners cannot run Docker, so the macOS run is done by hand on a Mac and recorded in the epic.

Part of fells-code/seamless-auth-api#385. Runs the published CLI through init,
docker compose up and the first admin's sign-in, and reports each phase.
