Adds aala_interdisciplinary_linguistics: Dictionary of Interdisciplinary Terms: Linguistics / معجم المصطلحات البينية: مجال اللسانيات (Q141645945). It is the trilingual Arabic/English/French dictionary of the Algerian Academy of the Arabic Language (2026), covering terms that migrated between linguistics and other sciences.

  • 102 terms, all with Arabic, English and French.
  • description holds the entry's definition as plain text (582–3464 characters).
  • uri links to the entry page on https://bayni.aala.dz; page is the page of the entry in the printed book (27–174).
  • name_arabic is the Wikidata ar label. name_english and name_french are translations: the Wikidata en label is a transliteration, there is no fr label, and the book carries no Latin-script title.
  • dict_type is terminology, tier is 2 (see the review notes below).

Extraction

The source is the public API behind https://bayni.aala.dz/browse (/api/v1/public/home/getFieldsWithData). It returns every published entry grouped by field; the 269 listings reduce to 102 distinct entries.

  • Cross-check against the printed book (the PDF linked from the Wikidata item, P953): each of the 102 entries matches exactly one entry of the book on its English and French headwords, and no two share a page. That match is where page comes from.
  • The book has 103 entries. The one that is not on the website is no. 42, Free / Libre (p. 89); it is not included here.

Changes to the source text

  • Homograph indices are written (1) / (2) instead of a glued digit, e.g. Deep structure1 → Deep structure (1). This applies to the six sense pairs (deep structure, surface structure, mapping, coda, stereotype, prescribed) and keeps the words searchable in FULLTEXT.
  • Two Arabic typos fixed: ُبُطْء → بُطْء (a stray damma before the first letter) and بنيّة عميقة → بنية عميقة (the second sense of the same entry already spells it بنية).
  • Capitalisation: stereotype, gravity model and iamb / iambe get a capital first letter, like the other headwords.
  • Definitions are converted from HTML: one line per paragraph, sub- and superscripts as Unicode (C₆¹², Xₙ₊₁). Three definitions lose an embedded figure: Exclusive, Projectivity and Intersection.
  • The uri is built from the website's unmodified headword, because the site looks entries up by that exact string.

Review notes

  • Synonyms are not included. The site lists alternative equivalents for 86 entries. They are variants collected from other dictionaries, each with its own reference, not the academy's choice (e.g. اِسْتِلام for Lemma), so the term columns keep the headword only.
  • Tier 2 follows the KSAA academy dictionaries. The Damascus academy dictionaries are tier 1, so this is the value to change if this one should rank with them.

Checks

  • make regenerate_dumps passes, including make validate (no baseline change).
  • Both dumps contain the 102 rows, and the MariaDB FULLTEXT search returns them.
  • Based on the committed arabterm.db.gz: the only data change is dictionary 831 and terms 583417–583518.

Adds `aala_interdisciplinary_linguistics`: معجم المصطلحات البينية: مجال
اللسانيات (المجمع الجزائري، 2026), the trilingual Arabic/English/French
dictionary of the Algerian Academy of the Arabic Language.

- 102 terms, extracted from the public API behind https://bayni.aala.dz/browse
  (every published entry).
- `description` is the entry's definition as plain text; `uri` links to the
entry page; `page` is the page of the entry in the printed book (27-174),
matched on the English and French headwords.
- Headwords only: the alternative equivalents the site lists as synonyms are
not folded into the term columns.
- Homograph indices are written "(1)" / "(2)" instead of a glued digit, so
  that the words stay searchable.
- `dict_type` is `terminology`, `tier` is 2.
