Large annotation workspaces and color-managed tiles now use bounded caches, indexed overlay queries, and batched upload preparation. Workspace snapshots share unchanged data, persistence handles restore failures explicitly, and compatible tile requests retain queue priority without accumulating stale jobs.

Adds exact RGB8 color tables when the interpolated ICC table cannot meet the error bound, while keeping CPU decoding and GPU color conversion separately reported. Includes regression coverage and opt-in diagnostic workloads. The committed dependency graph uses pinned Git dependencies; sibling-checkout overrides remain local.

Validation: cargo fmt --all -- --check; cargo test -p dicom-viewer -p dicom-viewer-core --all-targets --locked -- --quiet (366 passed, 18 ignored); cargo clippy -p dicom-viewer -p dicom-viewer-core --all-targets --locked -- -D warnings. Local checks ran on macOS. Cross-platform CI and optional fixture/performance workloads remain separate.
