Hi! I'm Franz Diaz

My work tends to sit at the lower layers of the stack: distributed systems, networking, and infrastructure tooling. Most of what I have built started as a question about how something works, like one of my magnum opus project; Zensearch, a search engine I built in Go and Node.js, came out of wanting to understand information retrieval from the ground up.

  • Programming mainly in GO while also a bit of Javascript and some understanding of C, currently learning python
  • Currently focused on building Zensearch and Local P2P Projects
  • Going Through DevOps in Boot.dev course
  • Currently Reading The Brothers Karamazov By Fyodor Dostoevsky

    • Books I've been reading and will come back to

  • Computer Networking: A Top Down Approach
  • Computer System's: A Programmer's Perspective
  • Operating System Three Easy Pieces

    • Pinned Loading
