Tuft

  • Redrawn from GPT Image 2 concept art so he reads as a bird. The wings are smaller, sit lower and have feather tips (no more "ears"). The tail is a fan of dark and pale feathers. The hat has one floppy tip and no pom-pom.
  • Still layered SVG, so all poses and animations keep working. Adds a small tail flick and fixes a bug where the hat's wiggle animation wiped out its tilt.
  • spikes/tuft-concepts holds the concept art, the generator script and the review page.

  • The most recent book or edition gets a plum hero card with the current chapter, progress, when it was last read, and a Continue reading button.
  • A queue beside it lists other books in progress plus adaptations being written (samples, full runs, refinements, or paused at the cost cap), each linking to its progress page.
  • Edition reading progress now shows up here, not only originals.
  • Layout handles one book (full-width hero), adaptations only, and phone width.

Testing

  • tsc, eslint and vitest (64 tests) pass.
  • Checked layouts at desktop and phone widths with sample data in a throwaway route. Not yet checked with a signed-in library, because that needs Google sign-in.

Tuft's wings, tail and hat are redrawn from GPT Image 2 concept art so he
reads as a bird; the tail gets a flick animation and the hat keeps its tilt
while wiggling. spikes/tuft-concepts holds the concepts and review page.
