  • An active internet connection.

🚀 Getting Started

Once you install the app, you see the main interface. You do not need to create an account. Open the software from your desktop icon or the Windows Start menu.

The Aether engine starts automatically. It creates a local connection on your machine. This connection reroutes your web requests to ensure better performance.

  1. Launch Aether.
  2. Wait for the status indicator to turn green.
  3. Your browser now uses the secured connection.
  4. Click the "Disconnect" button if you want to stop the service.

⚙️ Using Advanced Options

You can adjust how the app behaves from the settings menu. Click the gear icon at the top corner to open these settings.

  • Auto-start: Enable this if you want the app to run when you turn on your computer.
  • Language: Change the display language to your preference.
  • Updates: The app checks for new versions when you launch it. You can install updates by clicking the prompt that appears in the app.
  • Diagnostics: Use this if you experience slow speeds. It resets your connection settings to the default state.

🌐 Sharing Your Connection

Aether allows you to share your secured network link with other devices. This feature helps if you have a laptop or a second phone that needs the same connection.

  1. Open the "Share VPN" tab in the side menu.
  2. Note the IP address and the port number displayed on the screen.
  3. Insert these details into the network settings of your other device.
  4. Your other device now routes traffic through your computer.

Maintain the connection between your devices for as long as you need. Remember that sharing works best when your computer has a wired connection to your router.

🛡️ Privacy And Security

Aether protects your data by masking your network request points. It shifts your traffic through a secure core. This makes it difficult for outside parties to see which websites you visit.

We do not store your browsing history on our servers. The app operates locally on your machine. You control your information at all times.
