I'm Jorge. I build AI systems at @Ferrovial Digital Hub — mostly computer vision on highway infrastructure (CCTV, vehicle detection, that kind of thing) running on Azure ML — and agentic LLM systems on my own time.
Finishing up my CS degree at URJC in Madrid, currently writing my thesis on computer vision for padel shot detection. Alongside the degree I spent two years at 42 Madrid getting my hands dirty with C, C++, and UNIX — stepped away at the end of 2025 to focus on shipping at Ferrovial and my own projects.
- Agentic LLM systems — The Tenth Floor, a multi-agent pipeline for financial market analysis. Three specialist agents on local vLLM, traced end-to-end with Langfuse, containerised and tested in CI. I ran it as a live forward test, then stopped it and wrote up what it did and didn't show.
- Computer vision in production — YOLO models, Azure ML, and the fun engineering challenges that come from real CCTV footage (spoiler: headlights at night are chaos).
- Linux customization — I run a fully customized Hyprland tiling window manager setup, themed with Catppuccin because life's too short for ugly terminals.
- 🏆 NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025 — Madrid Winner, Global Finalist (top teams from 11,500+ worldwide). I built the Node.js backend and wired up the Azure deployment.
- Qubic × Vottun Madrid Hackathon 2025 — Top 10 Finalist.
