Thoughts on the approach used here of writing in coffeescript but commiting the compiled js:

I'd put in some leg-work obviously, but just want to find out whether you'd be amenable to accepting a PR for something like this. It would obviously entail agreeing that the coffeescript code is the canonical source for improvement, which might not be minor.
