^ the above claim is untrue. I was trying to pass data.attributes.unique_id into createEvent according to the API docs, and found it wasn't actually passing the attribute through to the API.
Changing to data.attributes.uniqueId instead worked, and appears to end up converting it back to unique_id as the API expects.
