Superseded by #5. The Ranger functionality from this pull request was ported into the managed chezmoi source layout, expanded with portable text-preview fallbacks and guarded optional tooling, and validated on the final macOS/Linux check path. Merging this branch would restore the retired top-level layout and conflict with the repository migration, so this pull request is closing without merge. |
