mySiteChart is a website directory and traffic-exchange toplist: site owners submit their website, get listed in a categorized directory, and can track incoming/outgoing traffic between their site and others in the network.
It's not a new idea — it's an old one, brought back.
The original mysitechart.dk launched back in 2005, running a classic "internet toplist" model that was common in that era: submit your site, get a counter badge, climb the rankings based on traffic sent between participating sites.
That system eventually faded, as most toplists from that era did.
This is a full rebuild — same core idea, modern stack, and an honest attempt to see whether that old, simple concept still has value today.
This project is under active, ongoing development. It's not a polished, finished product — it's a real system that works, with clear rough edges we're actively smoothing out.
What's working right now:
- Website submission, categorized directory, and toplist ranking
- Category filtering — first version live now, with search and additional filters planned
- Inbound/outbound traffic tracking (7-day and 24-hour rolling windows)
- Auto-derived brand colors per listing (a site's card can reflect its own brand identity)
- GitHub profile toplist — connect your GitHub account, get a click-tracked badge for your README, and rank against other developers. See it live
- Bilingual support (English / Danish) across both domains
What's still being built: filters, additional pages, more tracking options, and general polish. Progress, not perfection.
