Mapperoni is the simplest way to create surveys and share them with your community. Mapperoni is a complete survey form builder, with special tools for collaborative maps and map-based data collection.

At the moment, the core product can be entirely self-hosted, but the source code is not open source yet. If you think we should open source it, let us know! Otherwise, we will invite partners to collaborate on the private repository as-needed. The only public repo in our GitHub org is our website (www.mapperoni.com). Our website also contains product docs and guides. Feel free to post any issues, requests, feedback or questions on that repo.

Mapperoni is operated by Canvis Software LLC based on California. We are independently founder-owned and have been maintaining this platform since 2018. The platform was formerly known as Canvis.app and was relaunched as Mapperoni.com in 2026.
