my journey as a developer began with pascal, fortran, c++, matlab, and labview. more recently, i spent several years
deepening my skills in r/shiny, my favorite environment for data analysis.

in the ai era, my focus has shifted from mastering specific languages and technologies to software architecture,
domain modeling, and the logic behind useful tools.

development interests

bim: i build tools around ifc, construction data, standards, and the messy reality of engineering workflows.
dna: i explore y-dna trees, historical time slices, and genetic genealogy through reproducible data analysis.
