Linux packages do not expose the bundled mdbase CLI on PATH

Problem

The Fedora/RPM desktop package bundles the CLI at /usr/lib/mdbase-connect/resources/mdbase, but does not expose an mdbase command on PATH. Recovery workflows require discovering and invoking this internal resource path.

Reported with 0.1.0-beta.100. Reporter identity and private collection details omitted.

Evidence

Code inspection at 21d035cc: apps/desktop/forge.config.cjs packages the connector through extraResource, while Linux maker options expose only mdbase-connect. No CLI wrapper is configured. DEB shares these options and should be checked too; installed-package reproduction was not performed.

Expected outcome

• Supported Linux packages expose the bundled CLI through a PATH-accessible command.
• Package install, upgrade, and uninstall correctly manage that entry point.
• Add package-level verification for RPM and DEB.
• Document the current resource-path workaround until the packaging change ships.
