For developers and non-developers alike, the QA cycle is a great opportunity to be involved in an important part of LMS releases, where you get to both see the new release before it is officially launched, and to play an important role in checking different parts of Moodle LMS continue to work smoothly for everyone upgrading to or installing the new version. Best of all, it's really easy to get involved (in many cases, you don't even need your own Moodle site!).

By the end of this session, you will have some insights into what the QA cycle is, how it works, and how you can get involved right now for the 5.3 release if you are interested.
By the end of this session, you will have some insights into what the QA cycle is, how it works, and how you can get involved right now for the 5.3 release if you are interested. You will also gain some insights into the ongoing work at HQ to both streamline the QA cycle and reduce the amount of manual testing required.

## Agenda {/* #agenda */}

**Topic:** Ask Marie & Scott Anything

**Speakers:** {/* <!-- cspell:disable --> */}Marie Achour (Chief Product Officer, Moodle) and Scott Anderberg (CEO, Moodle){/* <!-- cspell:enable --> */}

**Quick topic summary:** We know there has been plenty of conversation across the community lately, and we think it's better to hear your questions directly than have them travel through the grapevine. Marie (Chief Product Officer) and Scott (CEO) are opening the floor for a proper Ask Us Anything, no topic off limits. Come with your toughest questions, and we can talk through them together, as a community that respects each other along the way.

**Question pre-submission:** So that Marie and Scott are able to provide comprehensive answers to as many questions as they can in the session, we encourage you to submit your questions ahead of time via our **[AUA question submission form](https://moodle.org/mod/feedback/view.php?id=8985)**. If you plan to pre-submit a question, please do so by **8 September** so we have time to collate and share them with Marie and Scott. As with all of our community developer meetings, this one will be recorded, so the form is also a good opportunity to submit a question if you are unable to attend the session live.
