rsync is available via ssh only to 88.99.69.85. If you need rsyncd access, I can give you the IP privately.

Some notes:

• Only the most recent of each package is kept, cache TTLs are set to 1 year though so in theory old packages will still be accessible on Cloudflare.
• This'll be slower than usual for a few days, I'm still working on optimizing some things serverside.

Thanks. rsync would be required for a mirror to be useful.

mirrorbits can't really deal with CDNs, so we'd have to give it GPS coordinates manually I guess.

Sorry for the delay, added manually now:

three issues:

• you seem to want to keep your IP private, but we have our infra public here, https://github.com/msys2/msys2-main-server/blob/main/services/mirrorbits/add_mirrors.sh so not sure how to handle that
• the mirror is missing the lastupdate and lastsync files.
• I've pointed it to vienna now, though I wonder what would happen if I put it into the US (where most of the traffic is)?

What I added manually now:

1. That should be fine actually, since I have firewalls set up that should (theoretically) only allow your rsync server and cloudflare to access anything. If it ends up being an issue I'll deploy anti-bot measures.
2. yeah I realized that yesterday, haven't updated that yet...
3. I would just keep it in Vienna, people who want the Cloudflare goodness in the USA should just use the mirror URL directly
