Combines #315 and #311. @vitest/ui pins a peer range on the matching vitest version, so landing either one alone leaves the tree unresolvable.
No config migration needed — vitest.config.ts only sets environment, globals and setupFiles, none of which changed in v5. Tests, typecheck, lint and build all pass locally.
Close #315 and #311 when this lands.
