Question: Working in Windows...

Hi,
Apologies for probably a real silly question.

All of my working projects are in Windows folders.
On machine 1: "C:\Users\username1\OneDrive_Dev\projects"
on machine 2: ""C:\Users\adifferentusername\OneDrive_Dev\projects"

I noticed your requirements section states that it would only work on WSL.
Does that mean I need to move all my code bases to WSL, or do I just need to create the 'claude-code-sync' project in WSL, and all the claude code conversations will be copied there?

Hi @jroachgit . Apologies for the late reply. My expectation is that you should not have to do anything actually, but I'm not very familiar with WSL. I think you should be able to run these scripts in WSL and it will sync your conversations. I am pretty sure you can access your regular files from the WSL shell so as I said, this should just work. However, I have not tested that. My documentation on the WSL compatibility is a best guess. Please let me know how it goes. I could try compatibilizing it based on your feedback. If you enter the WSL shell and see some claude related files by running ls ~/.claude then I would expect it to all work.. If you don't see that, I'll figure out where those folders are for windows and hopefully fix it for ya

Windows support is tricky with path handling in sync tools! If you're looking for alternatives, claude-brain uses git-based syncing for Claude Code config and should work anywhere git runs, including WSL and native Windows. Might be worth trying as a workaround while this gets sorted.
