A curated index of open-source software, datasets, testbeds, and reproducible research for 6G. This is the 6G companion to the 100 open-source 5G projects list.

6G is still a research field rather than a deployed standard. Inclusion here means that a project explicitly targets 6G research; it does not imply 3GPP compliance, production readiness, or endorsement.
- Added DeepSense 6G, the large real-world multimodal sensing-and-communication dataset (camera, radar, LiDAR, GPS, and mmWave beams across 40+ scenarios).
- Added NIST 5GNRad, a public-domain ISAC link-level simulator aligned with 3GPP Release 19 sensing channel models.
- Added Tiny-Twin, a CPU-only, full-stack OpenAirInterface-based digital twin for NextG cellular networks presented at IEEE DySPAN 2026.
- Added an Under review list for promising projects that are not yet listed because their code or license terms are unclear.
- Added the DETERMINISTIC6G 6GDetCom Simulator, an OMNeT++/INET framework for end-to-end deterministic (5G/6G-TSN) communication research.
- Added ns3-ntn-toolkit, an ns-3 platform for 6G non-terrestrial networks combining LEO constellations, NR-NTN, O-RAN control loops, THz, and RL agents.
- Updated OCUDU with its published code (GitHub mirror of the GitLab project) and BSD-3-Clause licensing; GNU Radio joined the OCUDU Ecosystem Foundation as a technical project in September 2026.
- Updated DeepMIMO to reflect DeepMIMOv4 (ray-tracing toolchain and database) and Sionna to reflect the 2.x release line.
- Added NIST ORCHAV for scenario-driven Sionna RT orchestration, reusable propagation frames, analysis, and interactive visualization.

- a one-sentence description of its 6G relevance;
- a paper or official project page when one is available; and
- enough license information to establish that the artifact is open source or openly available.
Projects that only mention “6G” without publishing a reusable artifact may be declined. Please update the Last reviewed date when performing a full link and metadata audit.
