+  This release moves to Electron 44, which drops macOS 12, and changes the application identifier. Read the first two entries under Changed before updating. Beyond that it is mostly desktop integration: system notifications, taskbar and Dock progress, a keep-awake option for long runs, right-click menus outside the editors, and Back/Forward across tabs. The engine now owns the default headers it adds, the Windows uninstaller actually deletes your data when you ask it to, and a failed run is finally reported as failed.

+  - System notifications. A finished load or collection run, the engine going down, an update becoming ready, and a browser sign-in completing can now post an OS notification. Off by default (Settings > Notifications), and nothing is posted while Vayu is the front window. The run notification carries the numbers ("12,400 requests, p95 210 ms, 0.3% errors") and clicking it brings Vayu forward on that run. A Preview button next to the toggle posts a real one so you can see what your system does with it.

+  - The application identifier is now io.github.athrvk.vayu (was com.vayu.client, a domain the project does not own). macOS keys preferences, caches and permissions by it, so macOS may ask again for permissions you had already granted, and preferences stored by an earlier version are not read. Windows installs upgrade in place; the installer keeps its previous identity so the app does not appear twice in Add/Remove Programs. install.sh --uninstall --purge removes both the old and the new locations.
+  - macOS 13 (Ventura) or later is required. Electron 44 dropped macOS 12, so the universal DMG and zip will not launch on it. Windows and Linux are unaffected. The Linux AppImage stays x86_64 and the Windows installer stays x64, as before.

Load runs have their own compression setting, since compression changes what a load test measures.
