Adds Latch, a free MIT-licensed Chrome extension that holds a YouTube lecture in full screen so leaving mid-lecture takes a deliberate hold rather than a keypress.

catalog/tools.jsonas the source of truth, then ranscripts/format_catalog.py,scripts/validate_catalog.pyandscripts/render_catalog.py. Validation passes at 177 tools, and the regeneratedREADME.mdanddocs/data/tools.jsonare included so nothing is stale.Being upfront about criterion 4: this launched recently and has no user base yet. I am putting it forward on the distinctive-learning-benefit side rather than sustained use. The mechanism is unusual for this category: it uses the Keyboard Lock API so Escape genuinely does not exit full screen, rather than showing a dismissable reminder. Getting out is a deliberate hold, and the repo documents its own escape surface including the routes left deliberately open.
Entirely happy for you to close this if you would rather wait for it to show real usage. No network requests, no analytics, no affiliate links, not maintainer-affiliated.
