Professional ESP32 firmware scaffold for an alarm clock project built with Arduino framework and PlatformIO.

Structure

• src/main.cpp contains only high-level orchestration.
• Each feature module is isolated in its own class with dedicated .h/.cpp files.
• Display access is abstracted through IDisplay and can be swapped with other implementations.

Build

Use the helper script for a reliable build flow:

bash build.sh

The script will:

• create or reuse a local virtual environment
• install PlatformIO and required Python dependencies
• run the PlatformIO build with the correct interpreter
• avoid the previous issues with missing Python packages and toolchain setup

Notes

• Update data/config.json with your Wi-Fi credentials before flashing.
• The current implementation uses a simple LCD2004 display implementation via I2C.
