Bring the lightweight Webview closer to the browser chat with shared interaction patterns for thoughts, working state, grouped tools, shell command stages, commit chips, provider questions, attachments, model selection, and queued versus immediate sends. Bundle the same Inter, Merriweather, and Fira Code roles with configurable appearance settings. Move policy explanations behind information popovers and clarify that tool allowances remain constrained by filesystem and network sandbox rules. Update the VS Code architecture documentation and focused model tests.
Stop tracking the extension's WOFF2 binaries. Materialize the six required Inter, Merriweather, and Fira Code faces during extension checks and packaging through the repository's existing content-addressed font build and FONT_BUILD_CACHE_DIR cache.
