WEAVIATE_VERSION(the default forEmbeddedOptions.version) from1.30.5to1.39.7, the latest stable Weaviate release.Verification
darwin-all.zip,linux-amd64.tar.gzandlinux-arm64.tar.gzassets that the embedded download URL builder expects.connect_to_embedded()downloaded and started 1.39.7, created a collection, inserted an object and fetched it back.Note for reviewers
Newer Weaviate versions switch a shard to read-only when disk usage goes above
DISK_USE_READONLY_PERCENTAGE(default 90%). On a nearly full dev machine, embedded writes can then fail withstore is read-only due to: resource pressure. This is expected server behaviour, not something introduced by this bump, but it can confuse embedded users.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
