WhiteDragon Software is committed to providing a welcoming, respectful, and constructive environment for everyone who participates in its projects and community.
We expect all participants to:
- Treat others with respect and professionalism.
- Communicate constructively, including when disagreeing.
- Focus criticism on ideas, code, or proposals rather than individuals.
- Respect different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.
- Take responsibility for mistakes and work toward resolving disagreements constructively.
Unacceptable behavior includes:
- Harassment, discrimination, or personal attacks.
- Threats, intimidation, or deliberate disruption.
- Hate speech or abusive conduct.
- Unwanted sexual attention or inappropriate personal conduct.
- Publishing private or sensitive information without permission.
- Spam, self-promotion unrelated to the project, or repeated off-topic posts.
- Other conduct that would reasonably make participation unsafe or hostile.
This Code of Conduct applies to all WhiteDragon Software projects, repositories, discussions, issues, pull requests, the community forum, and other official project spaces, such as the website and the organization's DEV account.
It also applies when someone is officially representing the organization or a project in public.
Individual projects may add further rules, provided they do not conflict with this Code of Conduct.
Maintainers are responsible for addressing violations of this Code of Conduct.
Depending on the circumstances, maintainers may:
- Ask a participant to stop the behavior.
- Edit, hide, or remove content that violates this Code of Conduct.
- Lock or close issues, discussions, or pull requests.
- Temporarily or permanently restrict participation, including blocking from the organization.
- Take other reasonable action needed to keep the community safe and constructive.
Maintainers decide based on the circumstances and the information available. Where possible, a first minor incident gets a private or public reminder before stronger measures are used. Serious incidents, such as threats or harassment, may lead directly to a ban.
Maintainers who are themselves involved in an incident should not take part in deciding how it is handled.
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, report it privately:
- Email: info@whitedragon.software, with a subject starting with
[Conduct].
Please do not use public issues or discussions for sensitive reports. Include what happened, where it happened (links help), when, and who was involved, to the extent you can.
Reports are treated confidentially. Details are shared only with the people who need them to handle the report, and your identity will not be disclosed without your consent unless required by law.
Security vulnerabilities are handled separately; see SECURITY.md.
Reports should be made in good faith and with enough information for the maintainers to understand and address the situation. Knowingly false or malicious reports are themselves a violation of this Code of Conduct.
Retaliation against a person who makes a good-faith report is not acceptable.
Questions about this Code of Conduct or how it is applied can be sent to info@whitedragon.software or raised in the organization's GitHub Discussions.
WhiteDragon Software is committed to maintaining a community where people can build, discuss, and contribute with respect.
