[None][test] Add Qwen3.8-Flash-Next, DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash and GLM-5.3-Flash perf-sanity cases; reset perf-sanity timeouts - #20680
Conversation
Add an aggregated perf-sanity config for Qwen3.8-Flash-Next NVFP4 on one B200: TRTLLM MoE, MTP3 with the accepted draft length pinned to 3, PLE table offloaded to host, 8k/1k at concurrency 4 and 16. The engine settings match the 1-GPU accuracy gate that already runs in the B200 post-merge list, and the checkpoint path is the one those gates load. Run it in the existing single-GPU DGX_B200 PerfSanity post-merge stage and seed its .test_durations record. Approving — the comments below are optional touch-ups, not blockers.
The engine settings match the 1-GPU accuracy gate TestQwen3_8_Flash_Next_VL::test_nvfp4_1gpu_mtp3_trtllm_ple_offload: batch 16, 8192 tokens, KV fraction 0.5, block reuse off, bf16 mamba state, TRTLLM MoE, MTP3 and PLE host offload. That gate already runs on B200, so this engine is known to start there.
The description says this case has not run on hardware yet. It goes into a post-merge stage, so a bad config would only show up after merge, as a red post-merge stage someone else has to triage. Please run it once before merging:
/bot run --stage-list "DGX_B200-PyTorch-PerfSanity-Post-Merge-1"
Then replace the 2700 s seed in .test_durations with the measured time and confirm TIMEOUT (90) leaves enough headroom. This case also takes the stage from about 6.5 minutes (Gemma-4 only) to roughly 45+ minutes on a single shard. That is fine if it's intended, but the measured number will show whether it should be split later.

…anity lists Add DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash NVFP4 with embedded DSpark (k=5, accepted length pinned) to the GB300 post-merge perf-sanity lists: - an aggregated config with TEP4 and DEP4 8k/1k servers on one 4xGB300 tray, using the engine settings of the CI accuracy gate TestDeepSeekV41::test_gsm8k_dspark[nvfp4-tp4 / nvfp4-dp4]; - a disaggregated AgentX trace-replay config for the "middle" point of the published AgentX Pareto (2 x DEP2 ctx + 1 x DEP16 gen, batch 16, MegaMoE CuTe DSL, concurrency 1579), run as ctx_only, gen_only_no_context and e2e lanes. The ctx_only and aggregated cases join the GB300 4-GPU stage (7 -> 8 shards), the gen_only_no_context lane joins GEN1-NODE4-GPU16 (6 -> 7 shards), and the e2e lane gets a new 6-node AgentX stage. Seed .test_durations for the new ids. Co-Authored-By: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com> Signed-off-by: chenfeiz0326 <203214996+chenfeiz0326@users.noreply.github.com>
…list Add an aggregated GLM-5.3-Flash FP8 8k/1k case on one 4xGB300 tray, with the engine settings of the GLM-5.3-Flash tp4_mtp3 serving config that PR NVIDIA#19843 benchmarks: TP4 / EP4, TRTLLM MoE, MTP with 3 drafts and the accepted length pinned to 2.384, batch 32, 8192 tokens, chunked prefill, overlap scheduler, CUDA graphs 1..32, KV fraction 0.6. LGTM for infra part.
All seven new perf-sanity cases are post-merge only, so regular pre-merge GPU usage is unchanged. The estimated incremental usage is 0.17 B200 GPU-hours and 84–95 GB300 GPU-hours per post-merge run, relative to the estimated baseline after #20677:
| GPU | Post-#20677 baseline (GPU-h/run) | #20680 increase |
|---|---|---|
| B200 | ~138 | ~0.12% |
| GB200 | ~120–134 | 0% |
| GB300 | ~706–747 | ~11–13.5% |
…red runtimes Set each new case's TIMEOUT to about 2-3x its measured runtime, and halve the DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash AgentX trace window to 1800 s with no per-lane warmup so the e2e and gen_only_no_context lanes fit a CI stage. Record the e2e lane's measured 4416 s in .test_durations. Co-Authored-By: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com> Signed-off-by: chenfeiz0326 <203214996+chenfeiz0326@users.noreply.github.com>
… s-window runtime Measured 2909 s on 4x GB300 with the 1800 s AgentX window (was 4787 s with the 3600 s window). Co-Authored-By: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com> Signed-off-by: chenfeiz0326 <203214996+chenfeiz0326@users.noreply.github.com>
… runtime Set each CI perf-sanity entry's TIMEOUT to the slowest passing run plus 25% (at least 15 minutes), rounded up to a multiple of 5 minutes, with a 30-minute floor. The slowest run is the maximum l_e2e_time_ms of PASSED runs in the OpenSearch test_info index over the last 30 days (main post-merge and pre-merge). Cases with no passing CI run in that window use the pytest time of their GPU validation run, or keep their current value when there is none (the MiniMax-M3 AgentX cases and the waived FLUX.2 case). Entries without a TIMEOUT now have one. Document the rule in the perf-sanity README. …n .test_durations UpdateTestDurations fills .test_durations with the pytest test time (l_e2e_time_ms); the six GB300 entries added here held total Slurm job time, which includes the install and launch. Replace them with the pytest time of the same validation runs, which is also what their TIMEOUT values are sized from. …Flash AgentX lane The DeepSeek V4 precheck test in test_cache_transceiver_precheck_run.py collects every *deepseek-v4*.yaml disaggregated config, including this DeepSeek-V4.1 lane, and requires metadata.architecture == DeepseekV4ForCausalLM so that a checkpoint-less precheck still resolves KV-cache-manager V2 and the Python transceiver. DeepseekV41ForCausalLM subclasses DeepseekV4ForCausalLM without overriding either preference hook, and a staged checkpoint's own architecture always takes precedence over the hint. Adds three new models to the CI perf-sanity lists, all post-merge, and resets the
TIMEOUTof every CI perf-sanity test from its measured runtime (see Timeouts):Every new case has passed on hardware (see Test Coverage). The AgentX lanes use a 1,800 s trace window so that each fits a CI stage. Only test lists, configs, the model-path map, Jenkins shard counts,
.test_durationsand the perf-sanity README change; no library or harness code.New cases

It ran (job 1151413 below) and every rank hit a device-side assert about five minutes into the trace window:

The KV cache manager then refused further work. This is the same assert #19843's runs hit around five minutes in, and it reproduces on this base. It should be fixed before that lane goes into CI.Timeouts

Test Coverage
Every case ran with CI's own bits: the GB300 cases on main GenPostMergeBuilds build 3083 (
93d46e50e0ce, this branch's base) andLLM_SBSA_DOCKER_IMAGE, launched through this branch'sjenkins/scripts/perf/local/submit.py; the B200 case in this PR's own CI run.L0_MergeRequest_PR65270submission_validsubmission_valid; 29,924 output tok/ssubmission_valid; 5,217 output tok/sTTFT in the e2e lane is queueing at the two 2-GPU ctx servers, which are prefill-bound on main: prefix reuse was 58.6%, against 92–97% in the recipe's own runs. Details are in the result comment.
The AgentX lanes'
CancelledErrortracebacks (2,218 in ctx_only, 521 in gen_only_no_context, 15 in e2e) are aiperf cancelling in-flight requests at the end of its window (final_requests_cancelledmatches); the DeepSeek-V4-Pro AgentX lanes show the same.Timeout validation, all perf-sanity stages. After the timeout reset, all 56 perf-sanity stages ran on this branch at
692049e(L0_MergeRequest_PR65761; the single-GPU B200 stage passed in 65669 and was reused). All 85 entries have a result: 81 passed, 1 was skipped (FLUX.2, waived) and 3 failed, none of them on a timeout. The slowest passing test used 79% of its newTIMEOUT(DSv4.1 AgentX ctx_only, 87 of 110 min); no passing test went past 80%. The 3 failures are the MiniMax-M3 AgentX cases, which fail the same way on main (22 to 38 min,TIMEOUT150 unchanged). One more stage, GB300 GEN1-NODE4-GPU16 shard 2, failed although its test passed (DSv4-Pro gonc con1456, 79 of 100 min): the job hung after pytest until CI's 2 h no-log watchdog cancelled it, a hang that #20608 has since fixed on main.Checked offline against main:
