Description

cache-sync re-serializes gateway channels through model::channel::Channel, which had no flags field, so the obfuscation flag never reached the channels table.

  • Channel now keeps flags.
  • cache-sync stamps each channel row with the writing bot (cached_by). An obfuscated placeholder can't overwrite a visible row that a different bot wrote, because obfuscation is per bot but the public and whitelabel bots share rows.

For:
TicketsBot-cloud/worker#155
TicketsBot-cloud/dashboard#155

Type of Change

  • Bug fix
  • New feature
  • Breaking change

Testing

  • Guard cases run against Postgres 16: same bot, other bot, unstamped rows, snapshot and single event

Track the originating bot when syncing guilds and channels, preserve channel flags, and prevent visible channel data from being overwritten by obfuscated placeholders from another bot. Add query and deserialization coverage, and upgrade container images to Debian Bookworm.
