Summary

  • README: the opening names both renderers (React Native and GTK4/libadwaita via GTKX) and notes the React Native name is historical. The peer-dependency list says it's for React Native. The gestures table gains a Linux column, and Development says why src/gtk is checked by its consumer.
  • AGENTS.md (and a CLAUDE.md that includes it): the rules for working on the renderers, moved from Workspace's .claude/rules/canvas.md. They're updated to this repo's paths and gain a GTK section. Two that no longer hold are dropped: the macOS Y-inverted pan (removed in chore: macOS gesture fixes, harness rename to jsoncanvas, iOS dark-mode + landscape unlock #40) and the 8192 texture clamp. Workspace issue numbers are written workspace#N.

Docs only. Open #69 also rewrites the README's opening, so whichever lands second will need a rebase.

The README opened as a React Native renderer only. It now names both
renderers up front, adds a Linux column to the gestures table, and says why
nothing here checks src/gtk.

The rules for working on the renderers move here from Workspace's
.claude/rules/canvas.md, which still scoped them to packages that left
Workspace in May. They are updated to this repo's paths, gain a GTK section,
and lose two that no longer hold: the macOS Y-inverted pan (removed in #40)
and the 8192 texture clamp.
